"ON YOUR TOES"
BACKSTAGE WEST
"On Your Toes" / REPRISE! Theatre August, 2007
Reprise likewise outdoes itself in revitalizing a classic score. These
evergreen songs from composer Rodgers and lyricist Hart overflow with lilting melodies, clever lyrics, and lush romanticism,
interpreted to perfection by music director Gerald Sternbach and his orchestra.

"My One & Only" / REPRISE! Theatre Sept. 2006
George and Ira Gershwin tunes benefit from director-choreographer Dan Mojica, who gets
high-voltage hoofing from his valiant corps. Musical director Gerald Sternbach and his sleek orchestra are exemplary.

"SWING"
OVETURE

SWING!' Has Swung! / Cathy Rigby McCoy, La Mirada Performing Arts Center May 2006
Orchestra comprised of all Local 47 members who played wall to wall music for the musical "Swing!" - and swing it did.
You almost wanted to put on your dancing shoes! The original Broadway concept was by Paul Kelly and the original direction
and choreography by Lynne Taylor-Corbett. The production at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts and McCoy
Rigby Entertainment was as good as it gets. Tunes like "It Don't Mean a Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing)," "Jersey
Bounce," "Airmail Special," "Jumpin' at the Woodside," "Harlem Nocturne" and "I'll Be Seeing You" were carefully dissected
and masterly performed by the orchestra.
The band was center stage during the entire performance, with some of the player's stage front
to inter play with the dancers and singers. They looked and sounded great, another tribute to the best that
Local 47 has to offer.
